General Membership - Annual



  • An individual must be a current, full-time local, state, or federal government employee that lives or works in the “Nashville-Davidson-Murfreesboro-Franklin, TN Metropolitan Statistical Area” including: Cannon, Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Macon, Maury, Montgomery, Robertson, Rutherford, Smith, Sumner, Trousdale, Williamson, and Wilson counties.

  • An individual must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age but not yet forty (40) years of age.

  • Employees at public institutes of higher education are eligible for membership.

  • Individuals requesting membership into YPG Nashville are subject to employment and age verification.

*Membership is on a 12-month rolling basis and begins upon payment of membership dues and approval of membership.

**Annual membership does not include registration fees to certain YPG events. Some events have a separate registration fee but are only open to YPG members.

Membership Requirements: 

  • Attend at least one (1) Chapter Affiliate meeting over a member’s 12-month membership cycle;
  • Attend at least one (1) professional development workshop or training opportunity over a member’s 12-month membership cycle
  • Attend at least two (2) Chapter Affiliate events (including but not limited to social event, networking opportunity, continuing education opportunity, etc.) over a member’s 12-month membership cycle;
  • Submit to the YPG Director of Social Impact at least 4 hours of community service completed within a member’s 12-month membership cycle.
